Marti Corby

Marti Corby joined our coaching staff in Spring of 2020. She currently holds her USSF D License and has been coaching for five years. She grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and played collegiate soccer at Grand Valley State University from 2013-2016. During her time there she won three consecutive NCAA DII National Championships from 2013-2015 and earned the national runner-up spot in 2016.  She was recognized as the NCAA Division II Player of the Year in 2014 and 2015 and selected to the NCAA Division II All American all four season (2013-2016). She left GVSU as the all-time assist leader (63), single-season assist leader (24), and most career games played (102). Marti was then selected to attend the United States U23 National Camp during her junior year in January of 2016. She graduated from Grand Valley on the Dean's list with a bachelor's in exercise science and a minor in psychology.  She continued her education at Xavier University and graduated with a Master's in Sports Administration. While coaching at Adrian College for two seasons, they won the MIAA regular-season conference championship in 2019, as well as, back to back MIAA conference tournament championships in 2018 and 2019. They also participated in the NCAA Division III national tournament in 2018 and 2019, winning their first-round game over UW-Stevens Point in 2019.
