Josh currently serves as Executive Director of Midwest United FC and has worked with our club for 17 years.
Josh grew up in Portage, MI attending Portage Central High School, then earned a Bachelor Degree from Central Michigan University.
He currently holds his NSCAA National Diploma.
Josh coached with GRASA for 5 years before merging GRASA with Grand Valley Premier to form the GR Crew Juniors. He then served as Director of Coaching with the GR Crew Juniors for 7 years. Josh was the head coach of the Forest Hills Central Girls Soccer program, winning a State Championship in 2005. He has collegiate coaching experience as an assistant coach at Cornerstone University. Josh won a State Cup with his U18 Girls in 2013 and took them to back-to-back Regional Championship appearances in 2014 and 2015.
As a player, Josh played for Portage Central High School before 4 years of college soccer with Hope College and Central Michigan University.
He currently resides in Grand Rapids with his wife Lisa and daughters Avery and Irelyn.
